Volunteering with Groundwork can be the first step back towards permanent employment or a way of boosting your skills and meeting new people.
Through involvement with our projects, we can provide a quality volunteering experience that builds transferable skills and knowledge for the benefit of both the individual and the wider community. Many of our staff began their careers with Groundwork as volunteers.
That can be hands-on, practical environmental work with our land management team or work experience within our office learning about environmental management, regeneration or office administration.
